Is soulja boy for real? ?

Ok I listen to alot of rap and hip hop now and I have heard his albums but now in his new music it just seems like all he does is sip syrup and pop pills? I mean I have nothing against weed but pills are a bit far in my opinion. So did he just get like this or what because on the deandre way his music IMO was good with songs like do it big and boom but now that juice is out it seems like he just stays high and plays pacman all freaking day?
